about

It will only take you 10 minutes to dive into the Droids' universe of references. "Make Me Dance" outlines New Order bass sounds with a beat built on a Moog synth. Ciccone Youth's raw cover, "Making the Nature Scene", uses a vocoder to update the antifascist manifesto created by Sonic Youth in the 1980s. "Iron City" was inspired by the manga "Gumn" and the melancholy of Cocteau Twins. The instrumental "Goodbye Folks" closes the EP evoking Bowie's Berlin exile era.
